Hike from the Andelsbuch cable car’s valley station to the Vordere Niedere alp

The hike from Andelsbuch to the Niedere, the local mountain, is a good choice for hot and dull days as well as for enjoying beautiful sunsets. The first section of the trail runs through a mixed forest. It then continues along a service road to the Niedere mountain’s long ridge. The destination is the Vorderer Niedere alp, where alpine cheese is produced in summer. The simple-modern Theodul Chapel, built of wood, is also definitely worth a visit. It’s located very close to the alp at a beautiful viewpoint.
